Description
It was an accident. Really, it was. Sure they broke into a twenty-year-old space ship to examine the whole thing top to bottom, but they didn’t mean to steal it. Now, the four friends are stuck in space with a long journey home ahead of them. But maybe along the way they can solve the mystery of what happened to the original crew with the help of the captain herself. Well, the hologram version of her who doesn’t know what happened.
What started out as a humorous, cozy, found family, space adventure left me board at the three quarters mark. The characters are all diverse representation of LGBTIQQ+, but I found them to be bland and boring in personality and motivation. The main romance I couldn’t stand. The couple is cute together, but the way Cleo longs for Billie sexually all the time annoyed me. Then there’s the end to their romance, it makes no sense to me how in the end the “real” Billie and Cleo fall in love at first sight while forgetting the hologram version Cleo fell in love with.
