For a novella, this book is much bigger than its mere 96 pages.

As short as this book is, Tanzer does not skimp on character development. Even though I had a hard time rooting for any of the characters, the flaws each one displays contribute to the greater story. The world-building is visually intriguing. The descriptions of Tanzer’s spacecraft and alien art museum transport the reader to another world entirely. The political strife woven throughout adds to the intrigue of the heist. Art is supposed to make the viewer think. Tanzer’s book makes the reader think about art, nature, and who has the rights and access to it. Overall, Tanzer’s novella is a joy to read
