“After I converted my Glock back to its lethal 9mm hollow-point configuration, I left the chamber empty for a week until I was sure I could control the reflex to neutralize my instructors.”

I enjoyed reading Bourne’s novel. I like reading post-apocalyptic and dystopian novels in general, because they show ordinary people in the face of adversity, danger, and uncertainty. This book is no exception. As is the case with post-apocalyptic novels, Tomorrow War has its fare share of run-and-gun action. What makes this book unique, however, is that it’s structured like a diary. That way, the reader sees the world through the the protagonist’s point of view. Another benefit of the author’s writing technique is that it is easier to gauge character development compared to novels written in third person.
