The Sisters Grimm Fairy-Tale Detectives #1

Sabrina and Daphne are two orphans who are on their way to live with their grandmother. But their grandmother reveals to them that all the Grimm Fairy Tales are true, and that Sabrina and Daphne are descendants of the Brothers Grimm, who were detectives. The Grimm detectives’ goal was to clear the names of the EverAfters, the non-human characters of the tales, so that humans would not continue blaming them for all the bad in the world. When their grandmother is kidnapped by a raging giant, Sabrina and Daphne decide to help their grandmother with the cause, and find out who is really behind all the chaos.

“A six-foot-high circle of fire snaked around the group, trapping them within. The flames licked at the pots and pans the children wore as armor, scorching Sabrina’s hand.”
